Rest Week: Exploring Nature With Children

Rest Week.jpg

As October is a 5-week month, I’ve scheduled our rest week for the 1st-7th. This will give the autumn foliage a good opportunity to really come out for Autumn Leaves Week, and also lines up Pumpkin Week nicely for those who celebrate Halloween.
I’m often asked what to do over the rest week; I would suggest perhaps going over a topic the the children have particularly enjoyed, or mix together recent topic. You could take your walk & look out for seeds ,mini-beasts , and signs of autumn. It’s a good opportunity for the children to practice all that they have learned.
Please feel free to schedule your own Break Week to suit your own family, however!
