Summer’s End, and a New Beginning

My quickly growing seed collection – to be used to decorate our homemade Christmas wreath that we make together at the beginning of the Advent season.

As the last golden days of summer slip gently into memory, I always find myself listening for the quiet rhythms of a new season ready to begin. The air shifts, the evenings draw in, and our homes become the centre of life again.

It is in these moments of change that I’m reminded how much our children, and we ourselves, need sanctuary. Not in grand gestures, but in the everyday. The candle lit at the supper table, the walk together collecting blackberries, the steadying rhythm of prayer and rest.

I’ve recently released new resources that I pray will serve as companions for families who long to create such sanctuaries.

🌿 The Sanctuary of Home
A gentle guide to shaping daily rhythms and rituals that nurture peace, faith, and beauty in the heart of your home.

🌿 The Sanctuary of Childhood
An invitation to see childhood itself as holy ground, filled with nature, wonder, and the presence of God.

🌿 Copywork Pages & Art Prints for The Sanctuary of Childhood
Easily printed copywork sheets featuring scripture and poetry, paired with beautiful art prints. Pages that invite our children to slow down, linger, and let beauty take root within.

Each resource was born from my own journey of learning to weave faith, nature, and learning into family life, not as tasks to be checked off, but as ways of living more deeply and simply.

Each resource was born from my own journey of learning to weave faith, nature, and learning into family life, not as tasks to be checked off, but as ways of living more deeply and simply. The Sanctuary of Childhood in particular has been eight years in the making; a gentle work of thought, prayer, and tending, and for me, a much needed lesson in patience!

Our Summer Sale ends this Sunday evening, and if one of these sanctuaries is calling to you, now is the perfect time to bring it home. You can find them linked above.

As we step into autumn together, may your days be full of light, peace, and the holiness of small moments.

With warmth,
