20 Luke 1:76-79 ESV
Zechariah continued “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Today’s Activity
Get out in the fresh air today for a brisk walk with your child and look for signs of winter ~ The Winter Solstice is fast approaching.
Here are some to get you started:
- The pale winter sun, low in the sky
- A nibbled evergreen cone
- Birds’ nests visible in the bare trees
Remember to warm up with mugs of hot chocolate when you return home, and discuss what you have seen.
