Get out in the fresh air today for a brisk walk with your child and look for signs of winter ~ The Winter Solstice is fast approaching.
Here are some to get you started:
- The pale winter sun, low in the sky
- A nibbled evergreen cone
- Birds’ nests visible in the bare trees
Remember to warm up with mugs of hot chocolate when you return home and discuss what you have seen.
