My Calendar of Firsts for this week:

  • Marsh Marigolds
  • Masses of Lesser Celandine
  • Primroses
  • Nine Mallard ducklings
  • More fishing for Rose this week

My ‘colours’ for this week, (along the top left hand page) were the greys of this week’s sky, which I blended into the duckling sketch.

    Ducklings, how cute! Lots of lovely yellows too with your flowers.

    All the birds round here are busy busy busy, we are trying hard to learn birdsong, we have learnt the chiffchaff this week, now we seem to be hearing them everywhere!
